The Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, hosted a reception at Government House in Victoria to celebrate 40 years of One Day Cricket. The first official one day match occurring at the MCG in 1971. Speakers include Mark Nicholas, John Edrich, Ricky Ponting, Bill Lawry and Greg Chappell.
